Happiness is a difficult thing to achieve, but it should never be the overweening goal. It should always be about fixing whatever is wrong with the situation, and building consistent proactivity, and before you know it, you’ll glance up, and realise you don’t feel unhappy anymore.

The fact is, many people believe that misery or melancholy is the antonym of happiness, but in reality, a lot of the time it is simple old insidious boredom. If you can combat boredom, and give yourself the boost needed to start working and filling your time again, you will quickly forget about your old moods, and by the time you sit back and re-evaluate, you will see the improvements.
